The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah is embracing artificial intelligence to make the Hajj and Umrah experience easier, more accessible, and more convenient for pilgrims from around the world. Through AI-powered services such as Nusuk AI, pilgrims can receive guidance and assistance in more than 180 languages, helping them access important information regardless of their language.
According to the figures shared by the Ministry, Nusuk AI has assisted more than 2 million users, while Digital Mutawwif has guided around 1.4 million pilgrims during the rituals of Tawaf and Sa’i. These digital services are designed to provide pilgrims with clearer guidance and support throughout their sacred journey.
The Ministry’s efforts in responsible AI have also received recognition, with these services receiving the AI Ethics Mark from SDAIA (Saudi Data & AI Authority). The initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s growing use of technology and AI to support pilgrims while maintaining a focus on responsible and ethical digital services.
