81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

From the religious participation sessions, a central component of the AI for Everyone event organized by the Muslim World League during the High-level Week of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The sessions aimed to develop a shared religious perspective on AI ethics that would contribute to formulating a proposal reflecting common religious values in this field, with a view to its adoption at the United Nations level and to enhancing opportunities for its incorporation into AI-generated content.

It is worth noting that the MWL presented its own Islamic perspective on AI ethics and called for it to be taken into account in AI content, as a perspective reflecting the shared values of nearly two billion Muslims worldwide.

The dialogue sessions were attended by H.E. Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa , Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars, alongside high-level representation from the United Nations.

Prominent attendees also included representatives of leading AI companies in the United States, the World Bank, leading American universities, several prominent candidates for United Nations Secretary-General, as well as a distinguished group of religious, intellectual, political, and academic leaders and research centers engaged in AI ethics research.
