Ms. Rachel, the world-famous children’s educator and activist who has consistently used her platform

Ms. Rachel, the world-famous children’s educator and activist who has consistently used her platform to defend children in P*lestine, Congo and Sudan, has made her feelings known about the cowardice Grammy-winning British singer Ed Sheeran has shown, many online feel.

She said: “If more than 20,000 white children were k*lled in another part of the world, everyone would be shouting about it at their concerts. Treating some children’s lives as less worthy of outrage is r*cist. Silence during a g*nocide is not neutral.”

Her criticism comes after Macklemore was dropped from Sheeran’s concert at Gillette Stadium following pressure linked to billionaire pro-Isr*el stadium owner Robert Kraft, who also owns the New England Patriots American football team.

Ms Rachel’s criticism is particularly valid given that Sheeran had no problem publicly expressing solidarity with Ukraine following Russia’s invasion. Yet when it comes to P*lestine and an artist who has consistently condemned Isr*el’s assault on G*za, he appears to draw the line.

Macklemore has emerged as one of the music industry’s most outspoken supporters of the P*lestinian people, repeatedly defending them despite the professional consequences. At the same time, Ed Sheeran has remained silent during Isr*el’s g*nocidal onslaught on G*za.
